Winter sports in Berwang

Skiing & snowboarding

For those planning a winter sports holiday in Austria with a (young) family, where skiing or snowboarding is the main focus, the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena — and Berwang in particular — is an excellent choice. This ski area offers modern lifts and well-groomed slopes. The pistes in Berwang are wide, and most of them do not have steep drop-offs right next to the slope, only small ditches at most. This makes Berwang especially suitable for families taking their first steps in skiing. Want to rent skis? This is possible at Sport Alm.

Ski School Berwang

Berwang also has a ski school. This ski school offers group lessons as well as private lessons, which can also be booked online. For children aged 3 and up, special “Bambini” lessons are available. Ski lessons can be booked at all levels (green, blue, red). The lessons are mainly taught in German or English.
