The route then continues to the Hochalm Heiterwang, where you are immediately immersed in the alpine atmosphere. Next, you walk to the Bärenhütte, known for its warm hospitality and cosy ambiance.
Halfway along the route, Café Sprenger in the heart of Berwang is the ideal place for a sweet break with homemade cake or a strong coffee. After Sprenger, the tour continues to the Kögele Hütte, where you can enjoy traditional lunch dishes such as Tiroler Gröstl or Kaiserschmarrn with views over the mountain peaks.
Afterwards, sample craft beers at Stadl-Bräu, Austria’s highest microbrewery. Then take a seat in the Kaminstube, where the open fire and wooden interior create a warm Tyrolean atmosphere.
