The Active Mile

The Active Mile is a fitness trail along the Panoramaweg in Moos, between Ehrwald and Lermoos in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. With a total of 19 exercise stations and a complete calisthenics zone, you can train using your own body weight in the heart of nature with views of the mountains.

Your own pace & level

The Active Mile was designed by a fitness coach and calisthenics expert from the Austrian Ski Association. The course combines classic fitness with elements from gymnastics, parkour and balance training. The exercises can be performed at your own pace and level, making the course suitable for both beginners and advanced athletes.

Route

Start at the fish farm in Lermoos. Station 1 is located at the railway crossing. Follow the railway service path towards Reutte, where you will find stations 2 and 3. Follow the Panoramaweg towards Ehrwald to reach stations 4 to 18. At the railway viaduct in Ehrwald, switch to the running path that leads to the calisthenics park. Here you will find training equipment as well as rest areas with benches, deck chairs and a toilet. Return to the starting point along the Lussbach. The calisthenics park can also be reached from Ehrwald and Biberwier via the heath paths. You can also choose to start in Ehrwald (start at the viaduct) and follow the route in the opposite direction.
