For anyone looking for an original hiking experience during a summer holiday in Austria, the digital Adventure Trails offer a unique opportunity. These interactive hiking routes combine fresh mountain air, beautiful nature and digital game elements, making hiking more enjoyable for families, puzzle lovers and nature enthusiasts.
There are six digital hiking routes in the villages of Ehrwald, Lermoos, Biberwier, Bichlbach, Heiterwang am See and Berwang. Each route is approximately 4–5 km long, takes about 1 to 2 hours, and features audio guides, videos, mini-games and puzzle stations. After completing a trail, you receive a digital badge, sometimes accompanied by an extra reward for children that can be picked up at the local tourist office.
Follow the mountain lion Cora on her escape and solve the challenging puzzles along the way. Also suitable for strollers. Almost 5 km long, about 1.5 hours. Located in Ehrwald, roughly a 20-minute drive from Berwang.
For true puzzle lovers. Approximately 4.0 km, around 1 hour. A treasure hunt with Castor the beaver through the forests of Biberwier (about a 20-minute drive from Berwang), featuring hints, clues and fun riddles.
